Christmas time is getting closer and closer – 82 days only, yay! I have started browsing the internet for Christmas gifts (its never too early for that if you ask me) for my family, including my pets of course, and I found some really interesting and awesome products any pet would love to get I believe!
I am sharing with you some of those awesome finds and maybe you’ll get an inspiration or an idea for a Christmas gift for your dog 🙂
BTW if you also have a cat, take a look at these Christmas gift ideas for cats.

Christmas gifts for dogs
I have listed some awesome products that I am considering myself for Kira’s Christmas gift. The products are from my two favorite webshops – Amazon and Etsy.
Etsy is my first choice for buying creative gifts and I love all those pet beds, homemade pet furniture, food bowls and other crafty things that are sold there. And I also love Amazon for gift shopping because of the wide selection of products and there are so many useful things to find there.
Anyway, let’s get those gift ideas rolling!
Happy Dog Water Fountain
Keeping your dog hydrated is very important and this water fountain is perfect for that. It will hydrate your dog whenever he or she pleases. This even makes drinking water fun and seems like a game so your dog will drink more often which is great for their health.
The fountain works like this: your dog has to press the pedal with a paw printed on it and the water comes out! It is very simple and most dogs learn how to use it in a few days.
Call My Mom ID tag
This adorable custom ID tag will serve great in case your pup ever gets lost. It has “Call My Mom” (or Dad or People) stamped on the front and your phone number on the back. You can check out the other ID tags in this shop called TheLandlockedDogTwo. They have many beautiful handmade ID tags with the name of your dog, contact info, different designs… I love them all.
Personalized Dog Bowl
Dogs love to eat and they need a nice bowl to go with their appetite! If you want to give your dog a great Christmas present and make your apartment beautiful at the same time, I suggest this custom food bowl! It is made of ceramic and your dog’s name will be stamped on it.
I don’t know what is it with me and teepees but I just love them and want to buy them all! I also decided to make one myself for my cats and the dog, but if you’re not DIY savvy then you might like this handmade teepee from Etsy. I am sure your dog will love their new hiding place and your apartment will have a new stylish accessory. Win win situation if you ask me!
Dog Slow Eating Fun Bowl
If your dog is one of those ‘fast and furious’ eaters or you just want to make your dog’s lunch more fun, this slow feeder bowl is something to consider. Your dog will eat much slower and every meal will be fun and challenging.
At first sight, this toy seemed like something I would use to play with my cats but it is actually made for dogs and it works really great to entertain them. Your dog will jump in joy trying to catch the toy. The toy is also great for high energy dogs to wear them out and to use some of that extra energy. Your dog will sleep like a baby after this.
I always loved playing with frisbee ever since I was a little girl. And a dog makes a great companion to play frisbee with (even though they can’t throw one in your direction :D). If you want to see your dog explode in joy, you should consider a frisbee as a Christmas gift for your dog. Instead of always playing catch with a ball, your dog will love their new frisbee toy. I have already written about some of the great frisbees you can buy, so check it out.
This particular frisbee is durable and resilient to chewers but soft at the same time so it doesn’t hurt your dog when he catches it. It also floats in water so it makes a great summer game too.
This feeding mat is another way to make your dog’s feeding time fun and challenging. Your dog will have to engage his sense of smell to find his food, as he would do in the wild. This matt develops his foraging skills and puts your dog’s nose and brain to work. One thing though, if your dog is an extreme chewer of all things, then this matt might not be for you.
And don’t forget treats
What’s Christmas without delicious food and treats? Treat your dog with some yummy dog treats or make your own Christmas dog treats! Don’t overdo it of course as us humans tend to during holidays, just a few treats a day will make your dog happy!
So that was my list of great potential Christmas gifts for dogs! I hope you found it useful.
Do you already know which Christmas gift you’ll give to your dog this year? Did any Christmas gift from my list caught your attention?
Let me know in the comments 🙂
